I lived in Hawaii for over 20 years and had never explored Waimea Valley before. It is such a beautiful place with an incredible variety of beautiful flora and fauna.
I found this hibiscus near the Palm Meadow. I love how the red contrasts with the lush green background.
We spent all day in the valley and still had so much we were unable to see. Looking forward to going back again!
